Aircraft Restoration Volunteers Needed!

Volunteer opportunities exist for aircraft restoration projects

List of Desired Skills:

Hand Tool Proficiency - Electrical/Pneumatic/ Hydraulic Experience

Metallic/Nonmetallic Materials Preservation

Sheet Metal Training

Painting Skills

Aircraft Maintenance Background

Contacts with Aviation Suppliers and Materials a major plus

Must be available two days each week, and capable of performing desired tasks

Self-Starter, Reliable

Restoration Team Leader

· Identify candidates with requisite skills

· Recruit new team members and organize the team

· Plan and assign tasks in accordance with needs of the aircraft and team members availability

Support the restoration and preservation of the following aircraft: A-4A, YF-17, YF-23A, F-14A, F-5A and F-86
